The charming villages of the Valley of Ordino and considerable romanesque heritage are an opportunity for a return to the past,
by crossing the threshold of the middle ages, to feel like a real inhabitant of mediaeval Andorra.

Trough the Iron Route, the Valley of Ordino revives its mining past and invites its visitors to discover all the resources linked to the process of obtaining, producing and marketing iron, from the beginning of the 17th to the end of the 19th century.

The Areny-Plandolit house museum invites us to travel back in time and visit the summer home of several generations of one single noble Andorran family : the Areny-Plandolit.

Andorra’s Romanesque legacy is of great relevance due to its abundance, with more than 50 outstanding monuments in an excellent state of conservation. These works were basically with autochthonous materials of the region, as wood, schist or granite stone.

Throughout the Principality there are up to eleven examples of Andorran churches which have managed to conserve their painted murals, such as Sant Martí de la Cortinada.
